Naked Head
Starting out as a fun way to pass the time by making silly songs and funny videos, this unlikely group of a Dad, an Uncle and two daughters’ boyfriends slowly became a band of brothers, taking one song that was ‘just for laughs’ and turning it into an entire universe of crazy lyrics, beats, videos, costumes and friendships.
Releasing their first EP ‘Feetosaur’ in 2018, their family and friends were at first entertained by the ridiculous collection of songs and slap-dash home music videos, but then surprised at the fun and catchy music underneath the madness. Soon Naked Head’s music videos were shared around and eventually made their way to community radio hosts ‘Pete and Tones’ at Three D Radio in Adelaide, who then started playing the songs on their show, helping to build a following of fascinated listeners.
Naked Head then went on to play their first (and only) live gig to date, opening for the legendary Adelaide punk rock band, The Packets. An event that cemented Naked Head as a band to watch, dazzling the audience with props, costume changes, stage projections, crowd participation and hilarious hooks.
Naked Head’s music jumps around from genre to genre, however always pulling their sound together with great story telling, head-spinning raps, and stadium level choruses that everyone can shout at the top of their lungs.
Naked Head plan to release their debut album ‘NAKED NATION!’ in 2022…
