Jake Cropley – Get Deeper [Single]

‘Get Deeper’ is a dark synth/funk track about ‘deep and meaningful’ conversations. Those times when you stay up late with someone and share thoughts about life… even if that’s not what it seems to be about at first!

I wrote this song on my birthday a few years ago while staying at a cabin in the woods. I came up with the title while making dinner the night before and in the morning decided to try and write something. This track is what I came up with and recorded when I got home. I had lots of fun playing with the funk/synth sound I ended up with and thought it worked well with the fun, suggestive lyrics. Thanks for listening!
